Sousceyrac

The village of Sousceyrac is in the extreme north-east of Lot, in the Ségala, in the uplands of the department in the foothills of the Massif Central, close to the border between Lot and Cantal.

The acid soils support chestnut trees and mushrooms in abundance.

There are a couple of restaurants including a Michelin one-star restaurant in the hotel in the centre: Au déjeuner de Souceyrac. Out of the main season, ring in advance to be sure of a table.
